A diary, of sorts, extolling the virtues of moving from seemingly idyllic Southern California to beautiful Idaho...or in other words, how this family of four is coping from the four seasons of California (June Gloom, Fire, Santa Ana, Earthquake) to the ones in Boise (Mild Winter, Fickle Spring, Fires of Summer and Fall...oh, and the Road Construction season).

Just keep counting, just keep counting...
In exactly two weeks, we will be in Salt Lake City...halfway between our life of before in California and our life of after in the great "Potato State." While at this point it seems that time has swiftly flown by, in reality it has ticked and tocked every single long second by as we remain in a suspended state of waiting. I don't think being able to see the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel" will speed up the process either. I suppose with those seconds left here on the coast I'll just have twist some advice from a little blue fish named Dori and just keep counting, just keep counting...
