Today was a hot 97-degree-kid-whining-dog-barfing-on-RV-carpet-running-around-doing-errands kind of day capped of with dinner finally at 7:45 p.m. following a trip to buy toilets at Lowe's after returning the rented 50lb carpet cleaner at Home Depot. Yes, Lowe's AND Home Depot...don't ask.
The talking weather head on TV just said that it was a "fairly warm" day with the temperature still hovering around 88 degrees (it's 9:42 p.m. as I write, by the way). Ummm..."fairly warm?!?" Are you kidding me? Why not just call a spade a satan's spade and admit it's devil's-playgrond-HOT for goodness sakes?!?
What else can I say? It was just that kind of hellish day.
